Linda Duffy studied Fine Art, majoring in Intermedia Studies, at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia, graduating in 1997. Linda relocated to London in 2001.

Linda works on both site-specific and studio based projects. There is an inter-relationship between the two, with the work created in the studio building on, developing and feeding into site-based projects.

Recent site-based projects include:
‘Traces and Evidence’ a site-specific installation created for a group exhibition responding to a derelict warehouse space in Bermondsey, South London
a mapping of a series of conversations about The Crystal Palace, created on the site of the original Crystal Palace in Hyde Park
a mapping of a series of conversations at the Spa Hill Allotments in South London
a series of sculptures created on-site in London parks and gardens using materials found on-site and white cotton

Recent studio projects include:
Traces – a series of drawings evidencing the process of their creation. The drawings result from following a series of paths in a ‘system’, with each outcome being dependent upon decisions made at points of intersection
Memory Boxes – a series of small origami boxes, each holding a story or memory in the form of fragments of an event or (re)collected words
